Our Purpose
The Augusta Training Shop is a local nonprofit that employs adults with various disabilities. We are dedicated to fostering the productivity of our employees, enabling them to earn competitive wages for their work. Our program emphasizes the importance of goal setting, skill development, and friendship cultivitation. We promote economic well being, personal dignity, artistic expression and talent discovery. The program embraces diversity in abilities, meeting each employee at their level and providing tailored opportunities, realistic goals, and a supportive environment.

We would like to strengthen our program through increased community involvement. We have such a unique agency and the fruits of our labor are dedicated wholly to a worthy cause. When people with disabilities become employees of ATS, they feel as if they are respected, productive and involved citizens. And in the bigger scheme of things, this not only promotes inclusiveness, but also diversity within our society.
